1950-54 Pontiac FUSES and CIRCUIT BREAKERS

1950-54 MAIN BLOCK
The main block is on the engine side of the dash on the left side near the generator regulator. It has three sets of clips. The top set holds a spare SFE 14 fuse. Circuits protected on main fuse block are as follows:
Stop, Dome, Trunk Lights:
SFE 14 fuse held in bottom (Grey Colored) set of clips.
Radio: SFE 14
Electric Antenna: SFE 30
Tail, License, Instrument and Hydramatic Quadrant Lights:
SFE 14 fuse held in middle (Gold Colored) set of clips.
1950-54 AUXILIARY BLOCK
The auxiliary (accessory) fuse block is on the passenger side of the firewall just above the accelerator. The inside of the cover of this block carries information as to which fuse protects what. The block carries a spare SFE 20 fuse. Circuits protected on auxiliary block are as follows:
Hood Ornament and Ash Tray: SFE 20
Fog Lamps: SFE 20
Courtesy, Underhood Clock Mechanism, Glovebox: SFE 20 Heater Motor and Brake-on Light: SFE 20 Back-up and Turn Signal: SFE 20
Heater Dial and Radio Dial: SFE 20 Clock Dial: SFE 20
1950-54 ADDITIONAL CIRCUITS Head, Park, Tail Lights:
30 AMP. fuse on the headlight switch.
Autronic Eye:
SFE 14 fuse under amplifier cover. Amplifier is on right side of engine side of firewall.
Turn Signal Flasher:
Behind instrument panel.
Cigar Lighter:
Special thermal fuse in base.
