Engine Swap in the ‘50

I’ve slowly been making way on this project. I got the front clip off it, pulled the flatty Monday, slid the V8 in it Tuesday. I still have to make the mounts, I plan to do that Sunday when a friend of mine comes over to help.

Axle shaft seal replacement

I noticed I had an axle shaft seal leaking when I replaced all my wheel cylinders a few weeks ago. I ordered a new seal from Kanter for $22 and replaced the leaky seal. Kanter was the only place I found that had this seal.

New Hubcaps, Collecting parts…

I picked me up this set of hubcaps back in July, I’m not sure exactly what year they are, but I like them. I got them at the friends of coal auto fair swap meet for $25. They were so dirty you could barely make out the Pontiac scripting on them.

- New intake and exhaust manifold gaskets installed
- New fuel pump and rebuilt the carburator
