An update on the parts list and where they come from:
- I found the headlight bezels in Tennessee (These are hard to find)
- The red “Pontiac” plastic insert (not seen in these pictures) was purchased out of Virginia along
with the two door chrome strips, and the fabric strap that bolts to the back of the front seat.
- Rocker stainless was purchased out of Pennsylvania.
- Blue dot original “50’s custom” tail lights were purchased for a whopping $120 bucks out of California, I put on an ebay fight for those!
- The grille was found locally, got a good deal on that. I also purchased the gas tank, gas tank straps, passenger side windshield, a park light housing, and the chrome mirror from the same guy. They were on a 51 Pontiac.
I think that’s it at the point of parts I bought wise…

I found this car (1951 Pontiac) about 20 miles from the house hiddin on a hill… This car had a really nice grille in it. I purchased the grille,
gas tank, gas tank straps, passenger side windshield, park light housing and the chrome mirror off this car.

This is the grille out of the blue car pictured in the previous picture. Very nice… will be rechromed one day though.

Taken the same time as the previous picture.

Remeber that big rust hole? ITS GONE!!! I cut the rust out, and fabricated a piece of metal and welded it in. Also for about 1″ of the rocker panel aswell. Turned out good

Oh yeah! Oh and I purchased a fully enclosed car port to keep the car in at this point… (why didn’t I think of this 2 months earlier?)

It’s coming together!
